Is anyone else ridiculously happy that warmer weather is finally here?? I AM! This winter we experienced just seemed way colder than any year I have experienced before! But I'm sure when the heat of summer quickly approaches I'll be wishing for fall or winter again. Haha!
That being said, I thought it would be fun to ring in the new season with a spring photo shoot!
Joe and I attempted to outrun an intense afternoon thunderstorm in the Asheville area and headed to Greenville. Sadly we failed to outrun the storm and only captured this photo with the pretty strung lights in the background right before we made it to our car. As soon as we got to the parking garage mother nature decided to dump rain that was going sideways!
I hope to shoot in Greenville eventually! They have a lot of cute colored walls and pretty walkways similar to this one.
Because of the crazy rain we ended up taking the photos at a local park!
I've had this dress for around 3 years... crazy right? I thought it was a perfect color for spring!
As I talked about in one of my previous posts about the getaway Joe and I had, I grew up swimming and playing in so many of the creeks and rivers in WNC! It was such a warm morning when we shot these photos so I loved the chance to wade in the water, plus it made for some cute photos. ;)
This is Joe's poodle, Henry. He's one of the sweetest dogs I've ever met. I've shared some pictures of him and I on previous blog posts. He has a specail place in my heart! <3
Have y'all ever tried to pick out a bouquet of flowers?! It is SO hard! The options were all so gorgeous, I wanted them all! I ended up buying 3 different small bouquets and putting them together!
I am so incredibly lucky to have a man that is so talented and willing to help me do what I love. He tells me all the time how he supports me in anything I wish to do and wants to be by my side as I chase my dreams and hopefully become successful. I know eventually after I finish up college I will have to have a full time job and have to run my blog and chase the life of being an artist/ entrepreneur on the side. But I'm so lucky to have him to support me and I know he would help me anyway he could. He already has helped me by always being up for doing photo shoots for my blog and comforting me because the unkown adventure while slowly entering adulthood can be scary. His heart is so amazing and I love than I'm getting to share that with those who follow me here.
I hope everyone is enjoying the warm weather and avoiding these crazy afternoon thunderstorms! Go spend some time in the sunshine! <3
